Rodriguez Family… San Bernardino family photographer

The other day I had the chance to catch up with the amazing Rodriguez Family. They have the most gorgeous smiles and personalities. We had so much fun even chasing the little one to get a few good smiles from her. 2 year olds are always so much fun to photograph even when they keep you on your toes. I loved so many of their photos that I had to post a few here for you to see.

Just the kids… San Bernardino family Photographer

I love mini sessions, but more than mini sessions I love this family! Mom and Dad skipped this session but the kids didn’t skip a beat. These kids are super cute, super funny and super photogenic. The boys crack me up and their sister well little Miss Camryn loves to NOT have her picture taken. Since her newborn session she has made me work extra hard for a smile, and this weekend was no different. But I won! I won big time. I got smiles and I got gorgeous pictures! Whoo Hoo! Its like I won the Superbowl over here.

Go Red Sox!

Now I have some Boston fans in my family, but I think the Scurlock family tops any Boston fan I know, minus one little Yankee’s fan.(well almost any excluding my sister and her husband). This shoot was so much fun. Mom, Dad and kids were a blast, and even Boston their dog was very photographic. Thanks for a great time. I’m glad we were able to get this done before the holidays for you.

McDonald family tree

What can I possible say about the McDonald family tree that would do them any justice. Let me just start with saying that this is one of the most amazing families I have ever met. I am lucky enough to have them in my life more often than not since we all go to church together. The family tree starts with a mom and her two sons and then the branches just started growing. With each family the tree just got better. I am blessed to have had the chance to capture this entire family together; yes all 29 of them. It was so much fun. 29 people might seem hard to get but I’m not kidding when I say this was really easy. I’ve had a family of 3 harder than this! Thanks for all the beautiful smiles,

All 18 of them!

18 people? You might be thinking that is a lot of people to get in one group photo. And it could be (and has been). The difficulty with a large group is getting everyone to look at the same time, (but not with this amazing family). When they asked me to photograph their family of 18 I was quick to let them know the difficulties of large groups, but that I have done it before. When she told me the location she wanted I was sure we would be kicked out quickly, which we were, so we had to go to plan 2. The problem with plan 2 was that we were losing light quickly. Some of these were shot after the sun went down. I was lucky to have my friend and fellow photographer Desiree Sanchez there with me with a reflector to give me a little extra light when needed. Thanks Des!
Over all the family was amazing. Everyone was gorgeous ( I couldn’t have gotten luckier), and their smiles were just beautiful. Everyone took their position and smiled- even the baby! I didn’t even have to pose them. They did it themselves! They knew what they wanted and I think we pulled it off perfectly. Thank you for asking us to come out and capture some smiles for you.

I love this one of the girls. I was bummed the lens flare was in the way but I wasn’t tall enough to get way from it. Aren’t their smiles and laughs great?

Cindy’s Clan

Jake works with a phenomenal group of people. Since we’ve been married and had Bethany we have been blessed with his work family. I say family because when someone has a child, grandchild, or loses a family member everyone shows their love and support in one way or another. And every once in a while I get the chance to go down the hill and photograph a family- one that I might have heard about or met at some time or another. This is aways fun because I get to know them in a short time and capture moments of their families So when his “work mom” emailed and asked for family pictures I was so excited. Jake loves her and now I know why. She is an amazing grandma and mom. Her three beautiful children met us there with their spouses. All but one was able to make it; and from different states too. The two grandbabies were there to steal the show (as most grandbabies do). I think my favorite part was when I was shooting the siblings. I’m so used to photographing children that when I was trying to arrange them I said to them that normally I can have kids dog pile and it lightens up the party and then I get real fun moments. Well moments after that I got this reaction to what I said….

Gotta love those real moments.

Breiner Family- San Bernardino Family Photographer

A month or so ago we took a trip down to the beach with a wonderful family. We had some great laughs and got really wet. It was a great trip. (Minus the traffic on the way home- which is why I try to only do this trip once a summer) You know there are some families you meet and your just instant friends; well thats how it was with the Breiner family. I even dragged Jake down with us and I think everyone just enjoyed themselves. Thanks for spending time with us, we’ll have to do it again for more laughs!

The Okwor baby Christening

A few weeks back the Okwor family asked me to join them in the christening of their first addition to the family; their beautiful baby boy. Little L.J. was so sweet. The christening was at their church in Fontana and was shared with family and friends from all over. Now anyone that knows me, knows that I love color. So when you see these photos you will understand why I was in heaven. The family was beautiful. There isn’t another word to describe them. Okay so maybe gorgeous and amazing would work too. Either way, take a look and choose your own descriptive words.

And the kids. Let me tell you. I had so much fun with the kids. They were all so cute and loved the camera. I let them all take a few photos and there were some great shots. Too bad we were inside with a flash because I could have spent hours with each of them and I’m sure they wouldn’t have opposed.

baby matilda “child photographer san bernardino”

A year ago in January, Desiree and I photographed a beautiful wedding at the amazing Kimberly Crest location. And here we are 15 months later and I’m introducing you to little miss Matilda. She’s so precious. We had lots of fun doing this shoot even though it was cold and windy. Matilda was a great sport when we put her in a tutu and it got a little cold. But when she was done…. she was done. All things considered we were able to get some amazing shots. I kinda picked a lot of photos to show off here because I loved too many of them. But how could you not love lots of pink and those cheeks! Thanks for the reunion guys! Enjoy,

Love & Laughter= This family

Its amazing to meet people through out every walk of life. New moms & little babies meeting for the first time, graduates getting ready for the real world, lovers waiting to say ‘I do’, sweethearts celebrating an anniversary, families saying good bye at a funeral, and families sharing a moment of laughter. The twinkle in an eye, the giggle of a little one, these are all moments that we love and moments to be captured. So, as important as weddings and funerals are, these moments are just as important. These moments tell a story of a moment in your life & I love being the one to capture them.
