Jonathan’s Senior Shoot

Jonathan’s mom and I have been talking for months. When she called me the first time it was like we were old friends and we just chatted away. I’m pretty sure that was back in September. So when we finally go together and met for the first time we were old friends! And Jonathan… well he is one lucky guy. His mom loves him so much. It was so great to see the two of them because she had told me so much about him that I felt like I had known him as well, and we were immediate friends.
As you can see he has a gorgeous smile. And ladies…. this one is a keeper! After he goes to college that is. He’s going to Law school eventually and has many goals ahead of him in the near future. Jonathan… good luck reaching all of your goals. I know that you are going to go far with all of your ambition.

Brooke’s Senior Year!

No other word seems more fitting than stunning to describe Miss Brooke. Although I have to throw in there that she is not only stunning, but intelligent, talented, and a pure joy to be around. Okay so that was a lot more than one word, but really Brooke has an amazing future to look forward to. Thanks for spending the afternoon with us.

Photographers heaven- Nikki Class of 2011… San Bernardino Senior photographer

So last week I had the chance to photograph Nikki at an amazing location. I kinda knew where I wanted to take her but I wasn’t sure if we’d be let in since it is private property. I’ve never really been told no once I get somewhere for a shoot; they normally look kinda weirdly at me and then tell me to be careful. When we go to this location (which everyone is sworn to secrecy!) the owner said yes and even offered me to shoot at a second location! woo hoo! Once we go in I was so excited to find the colors and textures. It was like a photographers heaven… seriously if your a photographer you’ll understand.
Anyways let me introduce you to Nikki. She is so shy but I think when we were wrapping things up she felt a little more comfortable with me. Her make-up was done by Aubrey Reese, a good friend of mine, and very talented. (If your looking for someone for your shoot let me know and I’ll hook you up with her.)
Desiree thanks for making this happen and for taking care of everything! Your an awesome soon to be In-law! The girls are lucky to have you.

2011 Granite Hills Senior- San Bernardino Photographer

What a blast we had searching for locations yesterday for this shoot. I had a few things in mind but found the wall I had planned, tagged. thank you for that who ever wrote droid on the wall. So we hunted down a couple new spots and I think they turned out amazing. Ashlie thanks for being such a good sport and for all the amazing smiles. Good luck in your Senior year, and enjoy the rest of your summer!

Miss Ari

We are back from South Carolina. It was a great relaxing week with family. We were able to go to North Carolina again and see some waterfalls, which was amazing. We had so many favorite’s of the trip. It was wonderful. But I’m back, and I’m on a roll. We got back at midnight on Thursday, then Friday and Saturday I photographed Soccer teams, Jake got to photograph a cool car show and then today I met with a Senior that is graduating on Wednesday. I was able to whip out some gorgeous shots today so they can have prints by Wednesdays celebration.

Secret Spots- Starring Desiree!

I don’t normally return to a location with multiple people but this one was a request so I took my friend and fellow photographer to a secret spot I normally wouldn’t give away. If I’ve taken you to a secret spot I’ve most likely asked you to keep it a secret so Des… shhh! No telling!
I hear other photographers and friends say that they are afraid to take photos for other photographers but I find it to be a lot of fun. I don’t only get to learn from them but I get to see their ideas and expand on them. Desiree and I have photographed each other a few times and each time we’ve been out we see somethings the same, but normally we have a different take on most things. Its really neat to see thru someone else’s eyes. I say try it if you haven’t, and don’t hold back! We are putting together a local Networking group for photographers, so if you didn’t get an invitation and follow us on the blog, email me because you’re not going to want to miss this. I have a fun group of people that are all ready to have a good time and make new friends with similar interests. We’re meeting up on Feb. 27th. So join in the fun!

Busy Bee

I have been so busy with Holiday sessions, orders, making cards and getting everything delivered, that I haven’t been able to post. Just a reminder- if you are still wanting to order cards I have to have your order by next Saturday. That means either send over your order or approve it for me asap! I just got my first order in and I will deliver those this week. They all turned out beautiful.

Since my new prices for the graduate sessions start after the 1st of the year I have had a new flow of Seniors calling daily to get in before the end of the year. Just to let some of the parents know, as long as you place a minimum of a $55.00 (non-refundable) deposit you can schedule for next year and still keep the low prices. So book soon! The $175.00 package will be $250.00 after the 1st of the year.

I love to find crazy walls or buildings to throw people in front of and I found this cool new yellow wall that I LOVE. I had so much fun with this senior not because he’s kinda like family, but because he was willing (with only a little embarrassment) to go wherever I wanted even with of a bunch of strangers looking at him. There were a lot of people around staring at him, but Lance you did great! Thanks so much for being such a good sport. And I love how your photos came out. I hope you enjoy them too.

Josh rockin his hotness

I love to photograph Seniors, (in High School). Its on my list of favorites because they are always willing to do anything. This Senior was doing a favor for me for a show this last weekend. He came out last minute and smiled his heart away for me. I loved all of his photos but these two were some of my favorites.

Thanks for letting me borrow you for the afternoon, and I will get your photos sent over to you as soon as I’m done playing with them! Hope you love them as much as I do!
