Sister and Brother love

There is nothing better than watching siblings play, laugh and love each other. I have photographed these two for the last couple years and always know its going to be lots of fun when we get together. This time we were doing a Christmas shoot and had to throw some bright colors and even a Christmas story into the mix. I have several favorite walls and locations but this is a popular one for the holidays because of the color. I love it for the textures, so it works great for everyone. Thanks Little M and Miss B for a fun afternoon. Your both growing up so much and so fast. Can’t wait to do it again!

Happy New Year 2011!!

Happy New Years! The 2010 year has been amazing for us. We have watched btsphotos grow this year so much. And we have made so many new friends along the way. This year instead of focusing on weddings we redirected to families, kids and Seniors. What a blast it has been to watch little ones grow over the year. Some I photographed their birth early in the year and then their family portraits at the end of the year. Amazing how quickly they grow.

Also this year we found out we are having a new addition to our family. A baby boy will be joining the Morrison Clan in May. We are so excited and anxious to meet him. This means we will be taking some time off in 2011. I’ll post dates in another post. I’m looking forward to taking time off to spend with my family in 2011, and I just want to say in advance, thank you to my clients that are already booking around my time off. You are all amazing and I love you all.

I hope you all have a safe and fun New Years Eve tonight, and an amazing 2011 year. Thank you for being a part of 2010 with us and I look forward to seeing you again in 2011!

And now to get caught up on some blogging! I just looked and I haven’t posted a real post since October!!! Please forgive me but due to morning sickness taking a toll on me (all day long) this was the least of my worries. But I’m feeling great and I plan to get everyone blogged over the next couple weeks. So keep checking back.

A few months back I met with Little Lily and her cousins for a halloween shoot. Lily’s mom couldn’t choose on a costume so we took pictures in all of them! Lily and her parents you might remember from awhile back. Her dad was deployed and we did a newborn session only 2 days before dad left. Well he’s coming home in 2 months and we’ll see them again. They are a precious family and I am excited for them to be reunited. So while dad is gone he is able to see his little ladybug grow up in pictures. I am always honored when a family asks me to take their pics but there is something extra special knowing they are going to be one of the only ways a daddy gets to see his baby grow. So thanks for letting me be a part of that and I look forward to seeing you all in a couple months!

October is over

You all must think I have fallen off the face of the earth. Believe me there have been days I wished I could or thought I had too. Really I have just been super busy. I’ve been crazy busy with shoots these days and trying hard to stay caught up so I haven’t had too much time to blog. Seem’s like Facebook is the place to reach me or see what I’m up too and even there I don’t get many photos uploaded. If you haven’t ‘liked’ me on facebook come over and do so. We’re giving away a free family session this month to the friend that sends me the most ‘likes’. That sounds funny but I guess its facebook talk. Here’s the link.

Arzola Family

This season I have met so many new faces and so many new friends. I can’t believe how many people I’ve photographed this week alone. This is partly why I haven’t been blogging because I’m trying to keep up so everyone has their albums, Christmas cards, and books before the holidays. Thank you all for your patience with me and I promise I will have everyones albums ready within the next week. After Saturday the 5th I won’t be working the rest of the year. Unless I have a large group or event for Christmas. So if you need a last minute session let me know by Saturday.

The Arzola Family is just a beautiful family all around. They area all amazingly beautiful inside and out. The girls have been blessed with parents that love and adore them and when your with them you just know that they all love each other so much. The fall colors and perfect weather made this even better. The location was a ‘hot’ spot and worked out great. Thanks Arzola family for the beautiful smiles. Tish

Holiday Sessions!

Its Halloween and Fall is here! I love fall. Its my favorite season. If only fall would turn into spring. That would be awesome. I’m not much of a snow bird and I don’t wear bathing suits so spring and fall are perfect!
I’ve gotten a few emails about Holiday cards and what I’m planning for this season. Believe it or not I’ve already started with family sessions this year for holiday cards. So my schedule is open and I’m starting to fill it in. If your wanting a session with cards the deadline for cards this year is December 6th. I must have all approvals by that date. The deadline for photos is December 4th. So book your session for November!
My Special for the holidays is…. A family mini session (1 hour) and 25 greeting cards for $100.00. (If your session is out of the high desert add $20.00 for driving.) I will book 1 Sat. in the mountains without a driving fee. Give me some feed back about which weekend works best. Anytime in November or December 4th. *all sessions need to be prepaid so email me about sending a check*

Holiday Pictures

This month on November 23rd, We will be going to mountains for some photos in the woods. It is the only day that I will be doing pictures in the mountains this year, and spaces are almost filled. I have only 3 SPACES LEFT to book, so let me know if your interested so you can get one of these spots. (You’ll need to drive up on your own and meet me there, and your spot must be pre-paid)

Happy Halloween Weekend

This Halloween was a blast. Bethany and I had so many laughs with her cousins. There were 7 kids total and everyone looked great. B was not willing to do a photo op for me, but her beautiful cousin was. Miss Witch came out and rocked in her costume. I have to show her off because she was so much fun and loved having her photo taken.

So many to choose from. These were all favorites.

Something New

My sister and I are both photography blog stalkers, and she saw a blog this week that did a “photo of the day” blog. I am going to try it out and see what you think so if you like the idea send me a message or post a comment. Today isn’t so much a photo of the day, it is a new Christmas/Holiday card. I am working on cards and getting ideas from friends and family. So I’ll paste the link below also for you to see the calendar and samples of some cards that I have made this week.

Holiday Calendar

I am so excited for this years Holiday Calendar. Not just because I get to meet some new faces and get out and play behind my camera, but because we are offering Christmas cards and Deals for the early birds!
All sessions are 30 minute sessions, which include a Family portrait (or two), individuals of each family member, and couple photos of the parents. Octobers Early Bird Session Fee’s will be $35.00, Novembers Holiday Session’s will be $50.00, and December’s session’s will be regular priced at $65.00. So book early and save.
Also, we will be offering two sizes of flip cards this year. The Cards you’ll see will be front and back, when you open the card there will be room for a photo on the inside and a message. The first is 4×5.5 flip card (vertical or horizontal) pack of 25 for 45.99. That is only 1.83 each! And the next is a 5×7 flip card (Vertical or horizontal) pack of 25 for 52.50, only 2.10 each. (This includes envelopes.)

The holidays are among us

I can’t believe that it is already October. Where did the year go? Well Holiday sessions are coming up, and I will have the mini-session schedule out soon, but first I want to offer them to my current clients for first dibs. So keep checking for the mini dates.
