I’ve been meaning to blog this amazing baby bump for a couple weeks, but I haven’t had a chance to sit down and do it. I have been working every day somedays a couple sessions. So if your waiting for your pictures I will have them soon. I am working. Promise. I’ve been working in studio quite a bit lately. Maternity and infants mostly but a few surprises too for birthdays. Its been a lot of fun.
This beautiful mom I have photographed before. You might recognize her. I had the pleasure of photographing her senior pictures a couple years ago, her son when he was first born, now her maternity pictures for baby Lily, and coming soon infant pictures for Miss Lily. Let me introduce you…

Mommy to be… High Desert Maternity Photographer

The other day I stopped by my friend and photographer’s house to help out with a maternity shoot for her sister. I snuck a few shots in outside of the studio since we all know I love natural lighting. Most of these are similar because I was was playing with filters. Mom to be is a great model. She was so much fun to shoot since she was up for anything. You might see some more of her since she is only 6 months and Desiree is taking pics of her gorgeous belly as often as possible. Des got some great shots while in the studio. Wish I had some to share. There is also a shot of Desiree taking some pics of Vic in the park.

A tiny little touch of pink

I’m going to be in Arizona working this weekend with the graduating class of 2009 Nurses! I am so excited because my beautiful mom is one of the graduates.

Since I’ll be gone I wanted to sneak in some photos from last nights maternity shoot. I had the pleasure of meeting the Smith family. They will be welcoming their new baby girl into their family in about another month.

Baby Bump

Ashley, Casey and Joshua are expecting baby Owen next month. I had such a fun time with this family. The chemistry between the two of them with Josh was so awesome that I just know Owen will be a loved little one. Here are a few of my favorites. Isn’t she gorgeous?

I loved this series of photos, this was so them to be laughing. And Casey really adored her. It was so cute to watch.

My secret location here was perfect because of the lighting and the grass complimented the color of Ashley’s shirt so well. I was so excited about that colors. The downfall was that there were ants and Josh got bit a couple times. Sorry about that Josh. Thanks for being such a good sport.
Thank you for inviting me into such a beautiful and exciting time in your lives. I look forward to meeting baby Owen next month.

Baby, Oh baby!

Last week I had the chance to play with a backdrop & lights, and a maternity shoot. Most of you know I don’t work with lights often or backdrops. I think it even says on my site somewhere that I don’t do use them! Well I do think there are times to use them and nude shoots don’t always belong outside. Plus it is so cold outside that shooting outside these days is rare. I am going to try to do some outdoor photos of this little belly before the baby comes, but it will depend on the weather. With storm overhead I am stuck inside these days with lots of cancelations. Thats okay though, we will get lots of smiles outside when the weather warms up. I will be taking a lighting class which starts next week at the college. I heard it is a great class and lots of fun, so I’m excited. I’ll keep you updated on the class and I’ll post my work as the class goes.

Okay so I just want to prepare you that the last photo here is topless. All private body parts are covered, but you will see skin. I don’t want to offend you so I’m giving you a chance to not view if you don’t want to see a naked belly. Also if you have children around you don’t want to view I just want you to have a heads up. So clear the room of kiddo’s. I promise though, they are beautiful and tasteful.

This beautiful belly is a friend of mine and I have to say I was so excited when she said she was game for anything. I don’t get that often. Some of my maternity shoots are shy or want fully clothed photos. So when I got a chance to play I did. Some of the photos that turned out HOT I won’t show here, because mom and I both think they are private for hubby’s eyes only, but these one’s are still amazingly beautiful. Oh and let me just say, Dad is a mechanic and they love their Jeep. That should explain a couple of the photos.

A lucky little boy

I had such a good time this morning with Erika and the soon to come, baby Wyatt. He was moving for us and she was beaming. I adore pregnant women with their glow, and Erika definitely has the glow. I couldn’t wait to share so here are just two of my absolute favorites that I fell in love with.

Baby Wyatt has such a wonderful mom and is going to be loved so much by is parents and big sister. I can’t wait to meet him.
