Baby Mason

I always feel bad when I don’t get someone blogged right away. Its been an eventful few weeks around here so I’m sorry that I haven’t gotten a new blog up sooner. But without further ado let me introduce baby Mason….
Baby Mason was such a good baby. When I shot this session it was a perfect week. Babies sleeping as soon as you get them is not often but for some reason this particular week was amazing. I think I did 3 infant sessions in 2 days and all of them slept so sweet and sound as soon as I placed them down. Mason and I had a great time. Most of which he wont remember because he was snoozing but I loved every moment of holding this sweet little guy. And thanks to his mom for being a great sport. Its hard to hand your infant over and trust someone to take care of them when they are stuffing them in cocoons and in odd positions, but mom did great. thanks for bringing Mason over and I can’t wait to put his pictures in my new project! Congrats to all of you. Your family is beautiful. I can’t wait to meet dad one day too!

Baby C- San Bernardino infant photographer

Baby C was born in June at just 8lbs 13oz and 22 inches. I had the chance to photograph him the other day at a month and a half and I’ve never had a baby come into the studio and go straight to sleep. (until this week) He is the little brother to 2 big sisters who just love him so much. Its so cute to watch “big siblings” with new members of the family. Thanks mom and dad for coming over and letting me capture such a precious time in your lives.

Baby Haley

I met baby Haley the other day at 6 days old. It was a little cold outside for a baby so we kept the entire session indoors but I just love the way they came out. Haley is the first grandchild of Desiree Sanchez with A Skewed View Photography. So when she called and asked me to do the photos I was a little surprised but super excited to meet the newest member to the family. She was born at just 5 lbs 11 oz so she’s tiny and absolutely beautiful. She looked so much like her mom and dad that you couldn’t tell which one she looked more like. But together they made a beautiful little girl no matter who she looks like. Congrats to the families for your newest bundle of joy. And thank you for asking me to capture tiny moments in your newest journey.

This last one I just thought was so cute with her eyes wide open.

Baby Carter

Okay so I really love baby toes. Every time I photograph a baby I get a new favorite photo. How can you not love little chubby toes? Enough about my fetish and now more about Baby Carter. Baby Carter is adorable. He is a mini-me to his two older brothers and sweet as can be. He didn’t want to sleep for me… at all, that is until I put him in my Maya wrap and he snuggled up to his mama and went straight to sleep. Its really hard to photograph a baby in a Maya wrap. Therefore, lots of toes! Carter loved hanging his feet out of the wrap so it opened up lots of opportunity for photos of his feet! Here are a few I was able to capture.

The beauty of Love

Meeting new people is something I do often, but there are times I meet someone and I know I’ve just made a new friend, or better yet times that someone just touches my heart for whatever reason, and I know I was just blessed. Well this was one of those times. Meeting with the Wintin family was a blessing. Daddy is deployed in Afghanistan and mom just had had their first child. Luckly she has family close, but as much as we all love our moms- its never the same as our husbands. Daddy’s been home for a few days to see his family but leaves tomorrow for Afghanistan. He told me while I was with them that leaving the first time was hard, but this time is going to be much harder. It made my heart sad for him but after seeing the amazing love Mom & Dad have for each other, I knew they would be okay. Each time they looked at each other it was like they were admiring each other for the first time. Watching them warmed my heart. This baby girl is one lucky little one. She is so loved and has parents that love each other so much. Thank you for sharing that with me.
I have the deepest respect for military families. I don’t know where you get the courage and strength from, but I admire it. Thank you for everything you do for our country. Thank you for being so selfless. Mom, your a beautiful, amazing & strong. Best wishes to all of you. Thank you for asking me to share this special time with you.

baby matilda “child photographer san bernardino”

A year ago in January, Desiree and I photographed a beautiful wedding at the amazing Kimberly Crest location. And here we are 15 months later and I’m introducing you to little miss Matilda. She’s so precious. We had lots of fun doing this shoot even though it was cold and windy. Matilda was a great sport when we put her in a tutu and it got a little cold. But when she was done…. she was done. All things considered we were able to get some amazing shots. I kinda picked a lot of photos to show off here because I loved too many of them. But how could you not love lots of pink and those cheeks! Thanks for the reunion guys! Enjoy,

Our Nephew Baby Jack

This last weekend Bethany and I took a trip to Arizona to visit our family and meet our newest member, Baby Jack. Everyone thinks their kids are the cutest kids ever, but in our family- we really do have the cutest kids ever! lol Baby Jack is so gorgeous, so little, and just as sweet as can be. He slept all weekend except when I wanted his pictures. Bethany and I just loved holding him. Bethany wants a sibling so bad that baby Jack has increased the number of times a day she asks for one. Like we can go pick one out at the store or something! Also we tried out a new Infant Cocoon this weekend. I haven’t used on before so it was my first learning experience with one. Now I’m looking for infants on loan to play with it. The cocoon is a fun idea and gives a new touch to outdoor infant photos. Take a look and tell me what you think. (Or call me if you have an infant I can borrow!)

Baby Long

Yesterday we had a chance to visit with a friend of ours from church. Jake wanted to take some photos of their new baby boy for fun so Bethany and I tagged along. I tried to watch and be his assistant for once, but as soon as he asked if I wanted to take one I couldn’t help but jump in and join the fun. He slept the whole time while we moved him around and snuggled up to Jake as soon as we were done. He is just so sweet and beautiful. His mom is another local photographer, so baby Long already had some amazing photos taken of him. Thanks for letting us come over and play, and for the wonderful visit. We really should get together more often. Congratulations Long Family. You are truly blessed. Can’t wait to catch up in the spring for some family photos. We really need some new ones!

Baby Ari

I have a confession that some of you know, but unless you are my close friend or family you probably wouldn’t. I love white walls. I really love all of my walls in my house white. But there I times I wish I didn’t like white walls. When I go into someones home and I see bold, bright, fun colors I wish I could do it in my home- for the sake of pictures anyways. I would probably never paint my walls anything but white, but take Baby Ari’s home for example. The colors in this house were amazing for photos. His room was blue and green and the colors were awesome. The house was a photographers dream for photos. There were so many options around the house to put this little guy. Let me introduce you to Ari and his big blue eyes…

A tiny touch of pink

Miss Skyler was born September 29th at 6lbs 13oz, with a head full of hair and a mom and dad already so in love. She was only 10 days old when I met with the family. I know I’ve said this a hundred times before, but I’ll say it again… this is the best thing about what I do. Meeting and introducing little ones. Being able to capture a precious moment like a mom and dad with their new love of their life. And capturing things like little fingers and toes so they remember how small they were after birth. I love everything about infants and photographing them.
